  • I'm starting to wonder if the real problem is the idea that everyone should sleep for 8 hours solid every night between 10 PM to 6 AM or whatever. Maybe the real problem is the artificial work and school schedules that don't let people take naps or have different sleep periods.

  • "proof beyond a reasonable doubt" is a legal term, not a scientific term. Many scientists think you can't "prove" anything, you can only test explanations and figure out which ones are definitely wrong and which ones might still be possible.
